Studying and playing at UIC feels like living a dream. Since I arrived in Chicago, I've been having an incredible experience. Being able to play at a college with high academic and athletic standards is something I've always dreamed of. Our team is highly competitive, and we play in a league that requires a lot of training and focus. The level is high, and I feel that since I arrived, I've grown so much as an athlete. ❝ At that point, Tiebreak and Mark entered our lives. He had a precise approach and answered all our questions about study systems for different countries, tests, costs, scholarships and etc.

This allowed our family to do all the necessary considerations with a reduced risk dose. Meanwhile, Guilherme had already been in the Brazilian National Team for some years, bringing game experience and important victories in the South American Championships and other games around the world for Brazil.

Tiebreak prepared a promotional video material that was presented to coaches of leading universities, which allowed us to initiate conversations with them and brought scholarship proposals. All of this enabled us to make a decision according to the athlete's preference. In parallel, language training and tests were carried out so that we could get invitations from universities. We opted for the University of Hawaii, which presents an engineering course and a prominent position in the NCAA volleyball ranking.

Mark coordinated and checked on us throughout the entire process, which helped us to get to the final option, the chosen University. Nowadays Guilherme is playing as a starting middle blocker for the University of Hawaii, and he is very happy with the decision.
